Mathematics for Data-Driven Disciplines

Applications and Interpretation (Higher Level) is designed for students who are confident with technology and motivated by solving complex, real-world problems through mathematical modelling and data analysis. The course develops advanced understanding across algebra, functions, geometry, statistics, probability, and calculus, with significant emphasis on statistical analysis, probability distributions, hypothesis testing, and sophisticated modelling techniques.

Students learn to interpret large data sets, evaluate assumptions, construct and refine mathematical models, and communicate conclusions with analytical precision. AI HL is particularly suited for students pursuing data science, economics, business analytics, social sciences, environmental studies, and other quantitatively intensive disciplines.
